How to make a purchase with Contemporary Lighting Ltd?
The Contemporary Lighting website has been designed so that it is easy to navigate and understand when just browsing or making a purchase. Once you find a product that you wish to buy just click on 'Buy Now' at the bottom of the picture and the product will be added to your shopping basket.
Once you click on 'buy now' you will be given two options either to view/edit your shopping basket or to go straight to the check out. Should you go straight to the checkout then just simply go through the payment proceedings and the product will be sent to you (within 2-5 working days). A confirmation email will be sent to you to confirm your purchase and delivery will be organised through our courier service provider TNT.
Delivery consignment prices-
UK Delivery - up to 10Kg - £ 10.00
UK Delivery - 11kg - 20kg - £ 11.00
UK Delivery - 21kg - 30kg - £ 15.00
UK Delivery - For Consingments over 30kg the delivery cost is rounded up to the nearest 5kg and charged £5.00 per 5kg increment. For example 42kg consignment = £30 delivery cost (42kg rounds to 45kg which is 15kg more than 30 therefore 3 x £5.00 added onto the £15.00 cost = £30.00).
The Colour of certain Images?
Due to the quality of product pictures available, we are aware that some of our pictures are only available in certain colours. For all pictures that have a different colour compared to their code, we have added a small colour caption at the bottom of the picture with the actual colour inside.
What happens if your order is out of stock?
Should you come across this problem (and we will do our upmost to ensure this does not happen!) we will send you an email with the opportunity to cancel or change the order. We will always try to fulfill all orders as soon as possible although we do have a waiting period of around 4 weeks to re-stock products in our range.
What shall I do regarding a complaint I may have?
Should you have an enquiry or complaint for us then please go to the 'Contact Us' page and send us an email, we will try to supply a response for you within 2-3 days. Or just give us a call on 0116 262 5933 as we are always willing to help.
What will happen if there is an error or fault with the delivery service?
In the event that you receive goods that you did not order or which are damaged or defective, or are of a different quantity to that stated on your order form. We shall, at our discretion, make good on any shortage or non-delivery and replace any damaged or defective goods, or refund to you the amount you paid for the goods in question. This can only be done if you notify Contemporary Lighting within 10 working days of receipt of the goods. This does not affect your statutory rights.
How long is the warranty for my purchases?
All fixtures are covered by a 12 month warranty. If the product develops a fault while under warranty we will either repair or replace the product.
Bulbs; whether supplied with the fixture or as a separate order have no guarantees
Which courier do you use?
We use TNT Delivery Service and parcels are tracked by their route
