Shipping & Returns Policy

 

The following information outlines Contemporary Lighting's (hereby known as ‘we', ‘us', ‘our') shipping and returns policies.

 

Shipping Information

 

  • 1. We charge a next day delivery for customers within the UK Mainland (We cannot ship to N.I, Highlands and Channel Islands. Sorry for the inconvenience) .
  • 2. We aim to dispatch all goods where stocks allow 2-7 days after completion of your order. Where Orders are placed on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday we aim to dispatch on the following Monday.
  • 3. All our products are dispatched by TNT
  • 4. You will receive goods within 2-9 days dependant on the time of your order. This is an approximate time of delivery. Please see our Terms & Conditions for more information.
  • 5. Private collection can not be arranged
  • 6. You are responsible for supplying us with the correct delivery address. We will not accept liability if the address was entered incorrectly.

 

Returns

 

  • 7. In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty/damaged product, you have 10 working days from the date you receive the product to return it. You are entitled to a full refund or replacement.
  • 8. We cannot exchange or refund goods ordered by you incorrectly.
  • 9. It is your responsibility to visually check for damage within the first 10 working days as we will not repair or replace damaged goods after this time.
  • 10. If a fault is found in the first 10 working days we will refund or replace your product, after this date it is subject to the warranty.
  • 11. If the product breaks within warranty we will either replace or repair the unit at our discretion.
  • 12. When returning a product you must contact us to arrange a returns label and notify us of the reason for returning. It is your responsibility to arrange and fit the correct labels, failure to do so can seriously delay any action to be taken.
  • 13. When Contemporary Lighting sends you a replacement you have 30 days to return the original faulty product. We reserve the right to charge you for the replacement using your payment information if there is a failure to return the faulty/damaged goods on time.

  • 14. We use HSBC Secure ePayments to accept all credit/debit card transactions.
  • 15. We only take Credit or Debit card transactions, we can not accept cheques or postal orders.
